smplVoice MaX UC desktop is a next-generation voice and unified communication client for Windows PC and MAC iOS. MaX UC desktop allows users to collaborate with contacts using HD-Voice, video, and instant messaging through an intuitive interface. Personal contacts can be accessed from centralized or device-based contact stores. Personal contacts marked as “favorites” appear in a dedicated tab for quick access. Corporate contact information can be accessed with LDAP and Active Directory integration.
METASWITCH CLOUD CONTACT CENTER INTEGRATION
Connect to the Metaswitch Cloud Contact Center dashboard from a scrollable window embedded in the MaX UC Desktop UI. Agents and supervisors can access their advanced call center solutions, without disrupting MaX UC Desktop functions.
CALL MANAGEMENT
Integration with Easy Call Manager and Business Call Manager enables users to set the status to Available, Do Not Disturb, or Forward Calls (to a specified number). Integration with Incoming Call Manager enables users to apply a predefined rule-set.
CALL PARK
Easy visual access to place calls onto, and retrieve calls from, Park Orbits.
CALL CONTROL
Click-to-Dial: use MaX UC to set up calls from a business number using other devices, such as a twinned desk phone or cellular. Push and pull calls between MaX UC clients on different devices.
INSTANT MESSAGING (IM) AND PRESENCE
IM and Presence enabled by Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) – delivered by Advanced (Accession) Messaging Service. Business Group member auto-population for IM and Presence for a seamless out-of-the-box experience. Group IM function enables co-worker collaboration. Users can send and receive files on 1-to-1 chats. Reject with IM option for incoming calls.

Rich client support for SMS – enabled via integration with Advanced (Accession) Messaging Service.
UNIFIED MESSAGING
Message Waiting indicator and single-button access to voice, fax, and video mails with optional speech to-text. Network-based universal call logs.
SMS messaging integration on MaX UC lines, via Advanced Messaging Service (AMS) and an SMS interconnect provider.
AUDIO CONFERENCE CONTROL
Enables your subscribers to set up and moderate a conference, view an automatically-updated list of attendees, and invite further participants, all from their desktop. Subscribers also have easy access to conference audio settings, including the ability to mute individual participants and adjust individual volumes.
OUTLOOK INTEGRATION
Presence information: displays phone presence for contacts within Outlook, including within email windows.

Allows the user to make and receive inbound and outbound calls using their twinned desk phone rather than with the MaX UC Desktop soft client. In this mode, the user can still take advantage of high-value MaX UC Desktop functions such as directory management, Instant Messaging/ Presence, Click to Call, Outlook integration, and more, while using a traditional hard phone for voice.
CLICK TO DIAL FROM SIP LINKS ON WEB PAGES AND EMAILS
Allows the user to click on any SIP phone link in web pages or emails and have the call automatically launched using Max UC Desktop. The ‘sip:’, ‘tel:’ and ‘callto:’ schemes are supported.

ACCESS GROUPS FROM MAX UC DESKTOP
