smplVoice MaX UC mobile is a next-generation voice and unified communication mobile device application, available for Apple and Android operating systems. MaX UC delivers superior voice and video quality without draining your device’s battery. Features include unified contacts, call logs, visual voicemail, and call manager. MaX UC is easy for anyone to use and is simple for administrators to deploy.

DEVICE TWINNING
Twin MaX UC Mobile with an office phone number to present the calling features, dial plans, and outgoing caller ID of the twinned office phone.

HD VOICE AND VIDEO
Features HD voice (G.711, SILK), and HD video (H.264), in addition to SD codecs, delivering best-of-class voice quality in questionable conditions often found when using real-world WiFi and 3G/4G mobile networks. The one-click uplifting of audio calls to video.

METAQR
MetaQR algorithms improve video quality by minimizing packet loss in lossy conditions often found when using WiFi.

CALL CONTROL
Users can push and pull calls between Max UC Clients on different devices. Users can also
Click-to-Dial to make calls from their business number from other lines, such as the native cellular dialer or configurable other lines (e.g. hotel line or home worker landline).

INSTANT MESSAGING (IM) AND PRESENCE
IM and Presence enabled by Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) – delivered by Advanced Messaging Service (AMS). Business Group member auto-population for IM and Presence for a seamless out-of-the-box experience. Group IM function enables co-worker collaboration. Users can send and receive files on 1-to-1 chats. Reject with IM option for incoming calls.

Presence state derived from a combination of:
MaX UC Client status – Available, Away, Offline.
Call state of MaX UC and twinned devices – ‘In a Call’.
User-selectable Busy, Do Not Disturb states – integrated with Call Manager state.

SMS
Rich client support for SMS features enabled via integration with Advanced Messaging Service (AMS) and interop verification with an SMS provider.

UNIFIED MESSAGING
Centralized personal and Business Group address book integrated with the device’s native contacts. Network-based universal call logs. Visual voicemail with optional speech-to-text. SMS messaging integration on MaX UC line, via Advanced Messaging Service (AMS) and an SMS interconnect provider.

BUSINESS SERVICES
Call Hold, Call Transfer, and Three-way calls supported.

CALL MANAGEMENT
Integration with Easy Call Manager and Business Call Manager enables users to set the status to Available, Do Not Disturb, or Forward Calls (to a specified number). Integration with Incoming Call Manager enables users to apply a predefined rule-set.

LOW IMPACT ON BATTERY LIFE
Efficient maintenance of network connection reduces battery drain.

IN-CALL NOTIFICATION
Improved user experience by alerting the subscriber to difficult WiFi or 3G/4G mobile data network conditions and offering the option to switch the call to a cellular network.

DEPLOYMENT IN APP STORES
CDAP-ready clients are available and continuously updated on Google Play and Apple App Store. Tailored branding also supported to provide greater customization options and distinct identity in Google Play and Apple App Store.

PASSWORD RESET
CDAP-ready clients adhere to Apple’s defined behavior for password reset requests.

SIMPLE PROVISIONING
SIP Provisioning Server automates provisioning of large-scale deployments of MaX UC Mobile
deployments.

NETWORK SUPPORT
Works on mobile 3G/4G or WiFi networks.

DEVICE SUPPORT
Compatible with iPhone 5 or newer (iOS 10.0 or above), iPad 4 or newer (iOS 10.0 or above), and Android devices (Android 6.0 or above).

MEETING
Provides web and video conferencing from your mobile devices.

ERROR REPORTS AND DIAGNOSTICS LOGGING
MaX UC Mobile supports secure mechanisms for the transfer of user error reports and diagnostics to the Service Provider’s EAS. This matches the mechanism used by the MaX UC Desktop and simplifies the Service Provider’s tracking of user-generated feedback reports.
