Replacement options

What it means

What end of life means for your EXP38

No longer sold

Yealink stopped selling the EXP38 on December 31, 2015. New units and spares get harder to source.

No more updates

No new firmware or security patches. Vulnerabilities found from now on stay unfixed.

No warranty or repairs

Warranty replacement and Yealink technical support end at end of life, so a failed phone has to be replaced.

It still works, for now

The phone keeps making calls, but provider, TLS and codec changes can break it without warning.

Recommended replacement

Replace the EXP38 with

The closest current Yealink model in the same class. The Tech Team™ can help you set up replacements and move your users over.
  • Current firmware and security updates
  • Warranty and Yealink support coverage
  • Newer codecs, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on most models
  • Setup and provisioning by The Tech Team™
