No longer sold

Yealink stopped selling the VP530 on November 30, 2015. New units and spares get harder to source.

No more updates

No new firmware or security patches. Vulnerabilities found from now on stay unfixed.

No warranty or repairs

Warranty replacement and Yealink technical support end at end of life, so a failed phone has to be replaced.

It still works, for now

The phone keeps making calls, but provider, TLS and codec changes can break it without warning.
