Overview

About the Toshiba DKT2001

The DKT2001 is the no-frills member of the 2000 series: a single-line digital set for places that just need to make and take calls. It connects to a standard digital station port on a Strata DK, CTX or CIX.

Despite its simplicity it answers intercom calls hands-free and shows message-waiting and line status with red LEDs. One quirk worth knowing: the volume keys need a deliberate press of at least an eighth of a second before they respond.

Highlights

  • 6 fixed keys: message, line/intercom, conference/transfer, hold and volume up/down
  • Hands-free answer-back on intercom calls
  • Red LEDs for message waiting and line status
  • Hold a volume key to step the level about every half second

Replacement

Replacing a Toshiba DKT2001

When it's time to retire the DKT2001, these current Yealink phones are the closest match on smplVoice cloud voice, with the same kind of buttons, display and speakerphone, plus modern security and remote-work features.
