Overview

About the Toshiba DKT2204-CT

The DKT2204-CT uses 900 MHz spread-spectrum radio, which gives it five to seven times the range of a conventional cordless phone. Toshiba quoted 300 to 400 feet from the base indoors and more than a mile with a clear line of sight.

It carries 10 channels, compared with 30 on its sibling the DKT2304-CT, and encodes speech with 32 kbps ADPCM for clear, secure calls.

Highlights

  • 900 MHz spread spectrum: 300–400 ft typical range, up to 1.1 miles unobstructed
  • 10 radio channels and 32 kbps ADPCM voice coding
  • 4 programmable buttons plus dedicated message, mute, speaker, redial and hold
  • About 6 hours talk and 4 days standby
  • 2.5 mm headset jack and 3 ring tones
